Shredding Hunger returns on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. Keller Williams Southwest will shred your papers for free, and donations of cash or non-perishable food to help feed hungry families in Fort Bend County are welcome but not required.

How Shredding Hunger Works
- Bring your documents. Load up your boxes of old statements, files, and other paperwork and drive over to our parking lot during event hours.
- Bring a donation if you can. Donations of cash or non-perishable food are welcome but not required.
- Arrive early. Shredding is first come, first served, and it can take 5 to 10 minutes or longer to have your documents shredded, so we recommend arriving early.
- Feed local families. All donations, cash and food, go directly to East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, Inc.
Why Your Donation Matters
Hunger is a real and ongoing challenge for many of our neighbors, and local food pantries rely on the community to keep their shelves stocked. By participating in Shredding Hunger, you are doing more than clearing out clutter. You are helping make sure families right here in Fort Bend County have access to the food they need.
A box of documents and a bag of groceries can make a meaningful difference for someone in our community.

Shredding Hunger is a partnership between KW Southwest, a professional shredding company, and the ministry that serves Fort Bend families.

- VitalShred, formerly Proshred (Shredding partner): VitalShred provides secure paper and data destruction and is confirmed to bring its shred trucks to our lot on November 14.
