KW Southwest Champions For Charity Recognizes First Colony Dream League for their Charitable Efforts

Keller Williams Southwest Agents are Champions for Charity and proud to recognize First Colony Dream League as one of their many favorite Charities in Fort Bend County. The Dream League is the Challenger Division of First Colony Little League (FCLL) and was established in Spring 2007. The Dream League enables children and adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities from all over Ft. Bend County a chance to enjoy the game of baseball. Through the generosity of sponsors and donors, The First Colony Dream League is able to cover all costs for all players. The roster has grown to over 100 physically and/or intellectually challenged players.

In addition, the league has an “Angels in the Outfield” program, where approximately 150 teenage boys and girls from Ft. Bend area schools volunteer to assist Dream League players during the game, becoming a loyal buddy in the process. The League depends heavily on volunteers from the community to fill such positions as board members, managers, coaches, umpires, etc. KW Southwest Agents Susan Garczynski and Harry Capers along with their family have been volunteering with the First Colony Dream League for approximately 6 years. The smiles on the player’s faces and knowing the joy they bring to the families is what keeps them committed to volunteering their time.

The Dream League was first initiated by First Colony Little League Board of Directors, along with several parents, The Fort Bend Independent School District and The Arc of Fort Bend. KW Southwest is proud to recognize the First Colony Dream League for their continued efforts bringing an amazing experience to so many families. For more information about the Dream League, please visit their website at fcdreamleague.com. The FCLL baseball complex is located in First Colony Park, located at 3232 Austin Parkway in Sugar Land.
