The KW Southwest “Giving Where We Live” philosophy is apparent in all the volunteer work in Fort Bend County during Red Week 2017
Sugar Land, TX. In alignment with their commitment to the Fort Bend community and their mission to “Giving Where We Live,” KW Southwest reached out on Red Week 2017 to help three local nonprofits with volunteer work, donations and support—Fort Bend Animal Control, Fort Bend Family Promise and the Parks Youth Ranch.
“The 2017 Red Week, which included Red Day, a Blood Drive and Shredding Hunger, set a record of giving for the KW Southwest market center,” says Chad St. Jean. The total contributions to all nonprofits, including volunteer hours, cash and inkind donations totaled over $25,000 for the week. Melissa Salies, chair of the Red Day activities, was very excited about the results.
Keller Williams Realty introduced RED Day in 2009. RED stands for Renew, Energize and Donate. It is the company’s annual day of service each year on the second Thursday of May. KW associates celebrate by spending the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities.
RED Day is another example of the KW Southwest commitment to Fort Bend County. KW Southwest agents and staff dedicated their time and efforts to “Giving Where We Live.”
